Split up your petrol payments with Esso Speedpass

This is a card issued by Esso in collaboration with GrabFinance. Only eligible Delivery-Partners can apply for this card. With this card, Delivery-Partners will be able to purchase fuel for their vehicles at discounted rates up to a prescribed card limit. Delivery-Partners will be able to pay weekly fuel costs the next week in 7 daily payments.

The payment for the purchase of fuel using the Esso Speedpass for a week, from Thursday to Wednesday, will be automatically deducted the following Monday in 7 equal daily installments. For example, a payment deduction made on Monday, 7th September would be for transactions between Thursday, 27th August - Wednesday, 2nd September.

Delivery-partners should receive a usage SMS for transactions made in the previous week on the same day that payment deductions begin.

None of the above. The Esso Speedpass is neither a Credit Card, Debit Card nor a prepaid card.

The Esso Speedpass does not require pre-funding in your Driver Wallet unlike a Debit Card. The card also has no interest rates, minimum payments or additional fees like a Credit Card would have.

The Esso Speedpass is issued by Esso to allow the Grab Delivery-Partner to purchase fuel from Esso. GrabFinance consolidates Grab Deliver-Partners’ daily payments and pays Esso on behalf of Grab Delivery-Partners.

Just fuel up at any Esso Service Station in Singapore, then pay with your Esso Speedpass by tapping your token at the outdoor pump terminals.

Do note that while no minimum usage is required on the Esso Speedpass, transactions are limited to 4 pumps per day.

This service is currently only available to selected delivery-partners who fulfill the following requirements:

• Have a good history of payments with Grab
• Driven with Grab for more than 3 months
• Have monthly Grab earnings of at least $500

3. Upon successful application, your Esso Speedpass will be delivered to your mailing address. Please ignore the activation instructions stated on the snail mail, as Grab will be activating the Speedpass on your behalf.
4. An SMS will be sent to inform you that your Speedpass will be automatically activated. If you do not wish to proceed with the activation, please write in to gfin.sg.ops@grabtaxi.com.
5. You will receive a confirmation SMS that your Esso Speedpass has been successfully activated.

Once your application is approved, we’ll send your card to you within 7 to 11 working days, so look out for it!

Your Esso Speedpass will be delivered to the mailing address as stated on your application form. Do note that your speedpass will be automatically activated and ready to use once you have received it in your mail!
